Dung in JB: June 15th 2008 – Pixs

We had good fun but the waiting was quite an ordeal.

Manan drove us down to JB with his spacious and uber-comfy Estima van. Fits eight people with tonnes of legroom. The airconditioning requires a good day-jacket to warm you up sufficiently, but that’s what made it so comfy. Bebe, Shammir & Atia tagged along with us.

This is the scene at about 3pm on the 4th floor (AKA the “3A Floor”) of the City Plaza, in JB. The gang sat at the middle table. All around us there were merch tables. On the left side (out of the pix), inside the recesses in the wall was the stage. The stage area filled up at anytime. Kids in JB supports whatever band playing!

That’s Bebe and fendi at our merch table. Guess what? we’ve got a new release and this is the first gig we are selling it. There’s also our new t-shirts, but all of is gonna be posted here soon.

This and the following pictures are us on stage. After a long wait, with tonnes of bands playing, we finally got up there at about 9.15pm. We had the luxury of using the guitar amps from They Will Kill Us All, who kindly let us use them. However, I didn’t get my usual sound, there’s too little distortion, but good gain. I forgo to bring up distortion pedal. As per usual.

We played 7 or 8 songs instead of the 13 planned! This is because the night was getting late and too many bands are still waiting to play and like us, they waited since afternoon.
