Musician Union of Malaysia’s Marathon
We remember it as a benefit show for an ailing musician affiliated with the musician union. We were not a part of it but they invited us anyway. Funny thing was we were paid RM100 each member for taking part with just three songs. The most we’ve ever been paid for a show that time. We actually asked why didn’t the money go to the cause? It was a benefit show, wasn’t it? The organiser insisted on us taking the money in the end.
There were 23 mainstream bands playing with us that night, including ALLEYCATS!
